Abstract

Dr. Zahir Ahmad Siddiqi is a reputed researcher , intellectual and a poet with a style of his own. He has written more than 55 books for the promotion of persian language & literature. He has worked as a laison between two nations - Pakistan & Iran to highlight linguistic, cultural and literary relations. In recognition of his services the Govt. of Islamic Republic of lran has honoured him with awards of best prose writer & best poet of Persian. Dr. Siddiqi is well known in literary circles & his articles & books are well respected. In this article his work for promotion of persian literature & relations between two brotherly countries has been discussed.
