Abstract

Anis Nagi is a notable reference in poetry and prose of Lahore literary history. He tried to go through every literary path in his long literary journey. He expanded the Urdu language through his individuality and propagation of modern literary trends. His commitment and love for poetry and literature is not hidden from anyone. He has many books on fiction, novels, criticism, poetry and translations. He gave place to new and unfamiliar words in poetry and prose creations and gave a new perspective to poetic linguistics. The review under consideration is with reference to his autobiography "Aik Adhuri Sarguzasht ".
