Abstract

Urdu and Turkish have some deep linguistical connections because of
historical and cultural relations. Many words, idioms and phrases are common between
these languages. This common glossary has been studied scholarly in field of Urdu
linguistics. Researchers and lexicographers have taken interest in this field. Insah allah
khan insh, Ali Bahadur Khan, Dr Mohammad Sabir, Abdullah Kheshgi, PurdilKhattak,
Dr GoharNoshahi, Dr AbidaHanif, Dr Ghulam Hussain Zulfiqar, Zainab Ozon, Dr
Asghar Hameed and Dr Muhammad Imtiaz have written some valuable books on this
topic.
