Abstract
Baedil Haideri was a prominent and sensible poet among the Urdu poets in 20th century. After partition of subcontinent, he settled in a rural area of Khanay Wal (Kabir Wala) where he spent his whole life. His poetry has universal truth and reality of life. He wrote many poems but he become famous by his lyrics poetry. His lyrics have the sorrows, desires, inequality of rights of humanity. He had a great love and passion for the deprived class. He did not want to see anybody in trouble. He presented his thoughts in his different and his own style, so that he become a powerful and unique voice of Urdu poetry especially in Urdu ghazal.
