Abstract

Different techniques have been used for comedy in different languages. The first technique is based on comparison. For instance, based on the irregularities created by the difference and similarities between two things, a comedy is created. Another prominent technique is the utilization of comic characters who create comedy through their dilapidated appearances. Brilliance in language, oration comic appearances and comic expressions are also some   important features of comedy. Featuring   comic characters in a writing is a most effective technique in prose writing and these characters are usually inflexible in their personality. further more    parody is also an important technique in comedy. Urdu is a language which was born out   of   collaboration of   multiple languages and that is why it possesses wide linguistic horizons so that   it   contains  with in itself  an   attractive  vocabulary and a distinguished grammar. Hence, not only it relates itself with Persian but it also impersonates the brilliance of Arabic, Turkish Sanskrit, English and Punjabi. Whenever we observe the traditions of comedy in Urdu language it is necessary to go through the  of comedy in aforementioned language as well.
