Abstract
Syed Ahmed Dehlvi is one of the famous personalities among the important personalities of urdu literature. His writings are full of social, cultural and moral aspects. Research ,critical analysis were the part of his nature. He has full command over English, Persian, and Arabic besides Urdu. There is a rich representation of Indian language and culture in his writings. His one of the best work is the compilation of Farhang e Aasifiya. It is the eternal treasure of the urdu literature history. This article tries to take a brief view of his writings.
