Abstract
Sharif Sajid belongs to Pakpattan, city of Baba Farid. His poetic work, having deep influence of Baba Farid's teachings, reflects the indelible effects of mysticism. His work is a wonderful combination of classical and modern trends. He has produced remarkable verses in many languages like Urdu, Hindi, Brahwi, Persian and Punjabi. He has a unique poetic style with different dimensions of literary thought. His poetry carries various features of style, expression and presentation of great ideas. Dagh Dehlvi was guide and mentor of Sajid's teachers. He has written hymns to God and other religious personalities, Naats, Mankbats, ghazals and poems. The variety of subjects and artistic skill in his poetry verifies that he is a great poet of vigorous styleand impressive ideas.
