Abstract
Ibn e Insha is the name of an unitarianizing personality. He is a
renowned name of urdu literature. His real name is Sher Muhammad
Khan and pen name is Insha. He was born on June 15, 1947 in avillage
near by Jalandhar. He served in both poetry and prose. He is a
significant name in urdu satire and humour who has no match due to his
bold and satiric accent and beautiful writing style. After reaching the
height of fame for his heart touching poetry and satire when he portrayed
his creative skills in travelogue writing this calss of literature also raised
in decorum. History or urdu travelogue canLt be completed without his
travelogues. His travelogues ''Duniya Gol hai'', ''Chaltay Ho To Cheen Ko
Chaliye''، ''Ibn e Batoota Ke TaLaqub Mein'' and ''Awaragard Ki Diary''
are a very significant asset in the history of travelogue writing. The satiric
touch in his travelogues award such a freshness and excitement to his style
that makes him an unparallel name in the field. Although hs is not among
us today but his creations in poetry and prose are enough toaward him
