Abstract
Sufi Ghulam Mustafa Tabassum was a towering personality of his era. He was a poet, educationist, translator and teacher - all at the same time. He not only did poetry in Punjabi, Urdu and Persian, but also translated poetry from these languages. In this article his poetry will be analyzed. His poetry contains the traditions of Punjabi as well as Persian. His greatest contribution in Punjabi poetry is his war poetry, which was written in the context of 1965 war and is still popular among masses.
