Abstract
Judged by the volume of his writing and the diversity of his themes Hafiz Mehmood Sherani
is a variegated and prolific writer. A considerable portion of his writings deal with factualities pertaining
to different historical epochs. These historical digressions shalter certain misconception and provide. The
reader with a larger perspective to help him form a more informed opinion about the topic under
discussion. Present reserach articale aims to evaluate the accuracy of this so called "historical content" of
Shiranies writings and to establish validirty.
