Abstract
Vernation to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) is the central theme of Islamic teachings. Since the dawn of Islamic civilization. Various scholars have expressed their feelings through their poetry and prose. Arabic, Persian, Urdu and other languages are rich with this theme. This tradition is also found in Punjabi language. Among Punjabi writers Hafeez Taib has also expressed his deep love with the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) in his poetry. In this article his poetry regarding the expression of veneration to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) has been discussed with reference to the Qur'an & Sunnah.
