Abstract
Mansha Yad is a renowned story writer, of second half of the twentieth
century. He highlights social, political, psychological cultural and especially economic
aspects of the period in his short stories. This article seeks to explore the economic
dimensions of prevalent socioeconomic structures as highlighted in his stories.
