Abstract

In the region of Kashmir, Islam has been able to render a convincingly deep impression along with simultaneously penetrating impact of Local Culture, civilization and traditions. Advent of saints in Kashmir and their veneration by Kashmiris has always been salient throughout this Culture and civilization.Writers of Azad Kashmir endeavored to express their deeply rooted adherence to Islam as well as their cordial connection with saints and mystics through writing biographies of spiritual and religious personalities. Such personalities include Hazrat Maulana Abdullah Kifal Gharhavi, Maulana Abdul Ghani, Hazrat Maulana Syed Sanaullah shah,Hazrat Qazi Fathullah Siddiqi, Meer Syed Ali Hamdani, Hazrat Shah Inayat Wali, Hazrat Saheli Sarkar.
