Abstract
Faiz Ahmed Faiz from Pakistan and Mahmoud Darwish from Palestine both are globally known for their resistance poetry. Darwish is regarded as the national poet of Palestin and Faiz is the most popular poet in modern era of Urdu literature. Both the poets won many national and international awards for their works. There is a range of themes and thoughts which is common in the works of both poets, however some differences and distinctions are also there. This article is an attempt to compare the poetry of Faiz and Darwish and to analyze commonalities and differences of both the poets.
