Abstract

"Marsya" is one of the most important genre of urdu poetry. This genre of poetry has great names like Anees and Dabeer. In this article, Mirza Muhammad Jafar Auj Lakhnavi's Marsya writting has been discussed. He was very much interested in Marsya, specially because of his family background.
