Abstract

Shakespeare is a fascinating topic for Sigmund Freud throughout his works. This paper attempts to locate Freud's psychoanalytical approach to Shakespeare. Freud discovers several clinical observations in his analysis of Shakespeare's Hamlet. This paper also deals with the problems of psychoanalytical theory that loses the literary traditions and style.
