Abstract

In this paper, a critical review of a very important work regarding Urdu novel and contemporary awareness has been presented. This work can be considered as a rich research effort in the search for contemporary awareness in Urdu novels. This paper not only provides a thorough critical review of this work but also sheds light on the various questions raised in it andtheir answers. This book covers the period from the beginning of novel writing to the 21st century. An analytical study of the book has been done in this paper.
