Abstract

Religious elements in the short stories of Khalil Gibran and Intizar Hussain If we talk about religious elements in the short stories of Khalil Gibran and Intizar Hussain, then both fiction writers make full use of religious elements and we see again and again the teaching and courage of social reform, human decline and its causes, the declining social character and degradation of man, the distance from the knowledge of the scholars and the use of the religion of the scholars for their own purposes. The themes are almost the same,in which the social character of man, the purpose of human life, the existence of man,personal attributes, the concept of sin and reward, and the concept of punishment are important.
