In the sub-continent, British rule compelled the locals to think and act differently due to its cruel policies and exploiting behavior with the inhabitants of the soul. All the nations, especially Muslims, due to Hindu-British nexus felt highly discriminated in all fields of life. So, the Muslim intellectuals adopted many ways and initiated different movements for Muslim renaissance in sub-continent. Revival through literary activities was a great step taken by some Muslim Literateurs in this regard. The novel was one of the most popular genres of literature, which was adopted to highlight social issues. Through historical novels, efforts were made to awaken the Muslims. In this perspective, the novelistic style of Sirah writing was adopted by some writers to promote the teachings of the Holy Prophet PBUH and to solve social issues and problems faced by the Muslim society. Maulana Abdul Halim Sharar, Aftab Ahmed Siddiqui sardhanvi, Mihir-al-Qidri and Ihsan B.A were among those writers who wrote the life of the Holy Prophet PBUH by adopting the said pattern.Novel writing, after its huge admiration in Europe, was much popular in the sub-continent. Muslim writers were inspired by this style of writing, so they considered this genre of literature much useful to highlight the issues.
