Abstract

Dr. Haneef Naqvi fulfilled a research obligation by writing a book entitled shoara.e.urdu k tazkiray(nikaat ushuara se gulshan.e. be khaar tak).This book covers tazkirahs written up to 1835.The question arises to whether there was any work on the tazkirahs written after 1835 or not.The answer is that the research work has been done on this very topic and two Ph.D dissertations were written in two different universities of india by two research scholars, As these dissertations have been published with the same title i.e Urdu Tazkira nigari 1835 kay ba'd. so in this research article efforts have been made to enlighten its importance and bring it to light that these two different works actually encircles the same scope of research.although they have had different technicalities, sources and style to narrate.This article will narrate the difference and similarities in the reseach methodology, research tools and style of narration.
