Abstract

Dr. Shamim Hanfi is a Shamim Hanfi of urdu literature his interest is to observe the changes in life closely and write about them. In this research article, Dr. Shamim has touched upon both the meaning and essence, and purposes of modernism. In his view, modernism has played a great role in the field of literature. Similarly, Modernism can be called a source for the completion of a necessary historical need. Modernity is a creative approach while Modernism deals with historical and religious values and traditions.
