Abstract

Ahmed Mushtaq is reckoned one of the prominent poets of Modern Urdu Ghazal.In this article an effort has been made to highlight various phases of his contemporary consciousness and dillema of migration.This article takes into account from his first collection of poetry title "Majmooa"(1966) to his second collection of poetry titled "Gard-e-Mahtab"(1981) in the same context.
