Abstract

Language is not only an important source of identity of a humanbeing and a nation but also guarantees their survival. human history is a testimony that when a language of any nation died, nation also died. Due to the importance of languages today  languages are being studied under scientific principles but Pakistan is far behind this scientific knowledge. In this situation " Qadim Urdu(Dakkani) aur Punjabi ke Lissani Rawabit" is very important. So main purpose of this study is to highligh main features of this linguistics research. An other aim of this study is to map out the importance of this study in light of linguistics perspective of Urdu.
