Abstract

Saadat Hassan Manto is an important pillar of Urdu fiction. In his fiction the bitter realities of life, woman and gender are important. The various pieces of his fiction has been rated as vulgar. This study focuses on the question that why did Manto write on gender. After all he wanted to expose the bitter realities of life. Infect Manto observed the facts around him and wrote with realism and neutral approach
