Abstract

Mirzadeh Ishqi is a renowned Iranian poet who transcends the geographical frontiers and advocates the welfare of all eastern nations living under the influence of the West.He boldly makes the announcement that the sun heralding a bright future for mankind will rise from the East and not from the West.In this poem Ishqi has criticized the western colonial system according to which the natives were enslaved on the basis of ethnicity.
