Abstract

This paper deals with the first Urdu translation of "Romeo and Juliet". This translation was published in Jan, 1890 by Navl Kishore, Kan Pur. Molvi Ehsan Ullah Chirriya Koti translated this literary master piece that was published earlier in Awahd Akhbar. This paper also deals with the psychology of the tales. This rear translation is a part of SAI library Heidelberg University, Germany.
