Abstract

Most of the critics who had thoroughly gone through the philosophical poetry by Allama Muhammad Iqbal, emphasized on his concept of Self positively. According to Professor Muhammad Usman it could be considered and explained as a central point of Iqbal's sociopolitical poetry. Professor Usman in his articles about Allama Muhammad Iqbal's poetry and philosophy appreciates his thought provoking ideas as a guide for the people of his age which too could be called an age of colonialism specially in Indian perspective
