Abstract

Evolution of Pakistani Urdu Novelette starts with Qudrat Ullah Shahab's novelette "Ya Khuda" ["Naya Dour", "Fasadaat Number", June, 1948]. This research study concludes that Pakistani novelettists have done beautiful and diverse experiments on methodologicaly and subjective level which has enabled Pakistani Urdu Novelette evolve as a strong genre and can be included in quality literature internationally. Journey of Pakistani Urdu Novelette's evolutions spans almost seven decades
