Abstract

Dabistaan e Karachi is one of the important dabistaans in Urdu Tadveen e Matn.Many manuscripts have been edited which were preserved in Kutab Khaana e Khaas ofAnjuman  Taraqqi e Urdu. Mushfiq Khawaja, Dr. Jamil Jalbi and many other researchers editedthe texts especially belonging to Deccan Poetry and prose. Some modern texts are also edited.Linguistic characteristics and history references are main characteristics of this School ofTadveen e Matn. In this article Dr. Azmat Rubab has presented an overview of this Dabistaanand given the details of the important works edited there.
