ضحاک ماردوش شاہنامہ فردوسی کی ایک اساطیری داستان کا تجزیاتی مطالعہ

Abstract

Hakim Abu Al-Qasem Mansur bin Hasan, Ferdowsi was born in a largevillage "Baz" near the city of "Tus" in the province of "Khorasan" , Iran in about 329A.H/940 A.D and died in the same place, in about 411 A.H/1020 A.D. He wrote hisMaster piece of epic poetry, known as "Shah Nama-e-Ferdowsi" which consists ofsixty thousand Persian verses. In this book, he expressed ancient history of Iran, half of which comprised of fictional history. In this way, he preserved old traditions of Iranand stories of various Irani Heroic personalities. In this article, a story of "Zahak MarDosh" is critically analysed. In the Persian language, " Mar Dosh" means that a personhaving snakes on his shoulders.
