Abstract

(Majlis e Tarraqi Adab has played important role in the development,preservation of Urdu literature and the tradition of Tadveen e Matn. Many ClassicalUrdu poetry and prose texts have been edited and published by this institute. Thisarticle gives an overview of the role and contributions of Majlis e Taraqqi e Adabcovering most of its prominent textual Scholars and poetic works.
