Abstract

The Prophet Muhammad(SAW) is being eulogized in the poetic and prose literature of the Muslim scholars since the advent Islam on the globe. Various facets of his life have been given a special reverence by the Muslim  scholars. So many Muslim poets have paid homage to various aspects of the Prophet's life. Ascension(Mi`raj) miracle is a unique virtue bestowed by Allah Almighty upon the Prophet(SAAW). This journey has been a topic of Prophet's eulogy for many poets and writers. Syed Sabir Hussain Chishti is one among such personalities who have paid homage to the Prophet(SAAW) with respect to this miracle. In this article his poetic verses regarding Prophet's ascension miracle have been portrayed.
